Hawaii Secures NCAA Men's Volleyball Championship with 16-Kill Performance

Hawaii (30-5) clinched the NCAA men’s volleyball crown with a decisive 15-25, 25-18, 25-18, 25-20 victory over UC Irvine, led by star player Kristian Titriyski’s match-high 16 kills—including a pivotal championship-point ace. The Rainbow Warriors secured their third title in program history, marking their first since 2026 and extending their season win streak to six consecutive meetings against the Anteaters.

Despite an early stumble with seven attack errors in the opener, Hawaii surged to dominance, posting a .481 hitting rate for the remainder of the contest after a sluggish start. Key contributions came from Louis Sakanoko’s three consecutive aces in the fourth set and Adrien Roure’s 15 kills, complemented by setter Tread Rosenthal’s 44 assists. The Rainbow Warriors also extended their season victory tally to 30-5, underscoring their historic run.
